Coffee Beans:
We only sell coffee that tastes exceptional and for this reason we have selected Oro Caffe. Renowned worldwide Oro Caffè started as a small artisan roaster in Italy many decades ago producing only superior blends. The owner himself (a master roaster) personally samples beans from different regions seeking only the finest, richest and most interesting beans.
Coffee beans are generally classified according to the area they are grown in, which affects the taste. The two main types are Arabica and Robusta which contain different amounts of caffeine, flavour and aroma. When you read descriptions of our coffee beans, you will notice that they are often described in terms of flavour, aroma, body and acidity.
Many factors affect coffee taste – the most problematic are oxygen
and moisture. For this reason ALL our coffee beans are allowed to cool before being packaged. They are then packaged in foil bags which contain a one way valve that allows the coffee to degas and stay fresh longer. Many coffee sellers wait for the beans to become stale and degassed before packaging to avoid using this valve.
Our coffee beans come in 1kg, 10kg, 30kg and 50kg lots and are always packaged in 1kg bags.
